Outer regions festi season 2018, first mixtape of the year and Sadoo UK tour

Despite a very long and rather harsh winter, It seems like only yesterday we were living life to the fullest at the GEA in the Blagdon hills, and I cant believe were only 10 weeks away from the 2018 season! Looking so forward to getting back on the road as this spring/summer is already shaping up so nice!.
Im very pleased to announce that we kick off with the Into the wild spring gathering - The beltane fire festival, beginning of May - now thats what I call a beautiful start to the season :)
After that we are attending a very awesome private party at an undisclosed location (unless you are one of the lucky ones with an invite) which im also looking so forward to. As we roll into June we maybe going to the Bristol volksfest! still up in the air at this moment in time, a new experience that sounds like it could be fun :).
There is no Glastonbury this year so im very pleased that Sunrise is on over that time filling what would otherwise be a huge cavity in the season. Its great to see this amazing festival back on the calender, we were at all the sunrises from the begining until it moved to Wales and were so glad to be coming back.
After that we join the Buddhafield crew for Buddafield 2018, then were off to celebrate our 10th anniversary cooking for crew at one of my favorite festi's, the very excellent Fieldview festival.
Then its back to the Kent/Sussex borders for Into the Wild, followed by the Green Earth Awakening 2018 in Devon. We are still in talks over a few events this summer, Boomtown, Goa Cream to name but a few :):) I let yer know as and if we get conformation, still early dayz.
Before all that business starts Sadoo is coming over from France for a small tour in the UK leading up to The Beltane into wild. He will be playing Brighton, London, Bristol and Stroud performing his infectious acoustic roots music live, and im very pleased to be selecting some tunes before and after :). Dates coming very soon.
Ive had a lovely winter this year, renovating the yard, spending time with family and friends, working on USR stuff and walking endless miles through the Cotswold valleys with Eli.
One of my most favourite winter tasks is going through and listening to all the new music that has been sent to me and sorting tunes for the cafe and label. I finally got round to selecting our first mixtape of the year titled Rize n Shine - featuring songs by Xavier Rudd, King Blue Brown, Thievery Corperation, Deep forest and the amazing new single 'Indomitable' by DJ Shub, the video is also brilliant (link below).

In the meantime im off to my cottage in Brittany for the last time to put it on the market, if anyones interested its going up for 40 large (bargain). Its partly renovated and comes with a 1000 square mtrs of land in the absolutely beautiful Black mountains region of central brittany, right next to the Nantes Brest canal, then im off to celebrate Sunny and Jakes 21st birthday in sunny Spain, returning in April to hit the road. Hope you enjoy the tunes and we look real forward to seeing you in the fields soon - let the good times roll :)x
